Where can I access the Digital lectures?
The lectures can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
How can I setup my personal computer to view MyCourses videos?
Assuming you have your computer configured to run on the Internet, all you need is an Internet browser and the RealPlayer
Where do I find lecture videos within my course?
If your course lecture is videotaped, the video will be posted to the course by the end of the business day. Lecture videos are viewed from "Events" located on the MyCourses sidebar. Select the event you wish you to view.
Real Player or Flash?
Videos can be viewed using RealPlayer or Flash. RealPlayer offers more playback versatility while Flash gives a higher-quality viewing experience.
How do I change the size of Real Player?
Rest your mouse pointer on the video screen. Buttons for original and double size, and full screen will show in the upper left corner of the display. Click on a button to change the screen size.
How do I change the size of HMS Flash Player?
Below the player, select the Size “1x” or “2x”.
Are headphones available?
Headphones are available on all of the computers located in the HMS computer lab and societies. Headphones are also available for sign out with a Student ID at the 225 computer lab from 9-9pm weekdays, and 10-6pm on weekends.
