HMS Exchange Clerkship Program

[Home]

Visiting students are responsible for their own room and board. We strongly recommend that you make housing arrangements prior to arrival in the Boston area. Housing can be expensive and difficult to find on a short-term basis. The Office of the Registrar does not advise regarding housing information.

Inquiries regarding dormitory rooms at Vanderbilt Residence Hall should be directed to:

Vanderbilt Hall Business Office
107 Avenue Louis Pasteur
Boston, MA 02115-5750

Vanderbilt Hall

The Vanderbilt Hall website is also an excellent resource for off-campus housing options. Please make note that Harvard hospitals are located throughout the Boston area and attention should be given to physical location with housing options.

Please note: Vanderbilt Hall is a non-smoking facility.

**Due to recent events, HMS does NOT recommend using Craig’s List as a housing resource.**

Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the hospital. Please note that parking is extremely limited and expensive in the Boston area.

Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) - Boston's public transit system.

Partners Healthcare Shuttles - Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital's free shuttle system.
